What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Creative Dining Services?
Creative Dining Services is looking for a Barista to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. The barista maintains operations at the coffee shop while maintaining a positive environment to provide fast, efficient and friendly service - ensuring a quality experience for both our customers and our team members. The barista is responsible for customer service, product knowledge and education, and encouraging safe work practices.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.
- Provides service to the customers in a positive, friendly, helpful manner.
- Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations. Investigates & resolves customer incidents if necessary.
- Runs a register and other devices accurately, following all cash-handling procedures.
- Follows current trends in the coffee business, and makes operations suggestions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- One year of retail or six (6) months of specialty coffee experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent - preferred.
