Overview Of The Chief Financial Officer Role

  • Set the company's strategy and direction including budgets and all financial reporting
  • Oversee and drive accounting and payroll departments
  • Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
  • Manage relationships with banks

Preferred Qualifications/Experience For The Chief Financial Officer

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA or CPA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role; background in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization
