Overview Of The Company And Director Of Finance Opportunity

  • CFS is working with a local organization to identify a Director of Finance to oversee all accounting and purchasing activities.
  • The Director of Finance will have three direct reports.
  • The ideal candidate is a people person and a go-getter!

Overview of the Director of Finance role:

  • Ensure compliance of all accounting and purchasing activities, revise procedures and policies as required, remain up-to-date on applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Perform cash flow analysis, prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with the Executive and Department Directors
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, present financial reports to the Board
  • Maintain the finance and accounting database

Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Finance:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Five years of related experience, including three years of supervisory experience
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
