- CFS has partnered with a full-line industrial catering & food service company that has been in business since 1968.
- Our client has 9 divisions that cover 6 states with a total of 300 employees.
- They are seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their accounting department.
- Their accounting department is going through a transition & they are looking for a leader with a strong accounting background to get them through it.
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes with a keen attention to detail.
- Senior Accountant conducts thorough reconciliations of financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
- Oversee the general ledger activities to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Provide comprehensive support to the accounting department in various capacities.
- Senior Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.
- Utilize Sage or ERP software to streamline accounting processes (experience with Sage or ERP is highly desirable).
- Senior Accountant demonstrates expertise in route delivery accounting processes (experience in this area is a plus).
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Strong understanding of general ledger activities and reconciliations.
- Experience with Sage or ERP software is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with route delivery accounting processes is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in providing support to accounting teams.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
