Our client in the RDU area is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join the accounting and finance team.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant
- The Accounting Assistant will assist with the Accounts Payable cycle
- Responsible for invoicing
- Work with purchase orders and expense reports
- The Accounting Assistant will assist in Accounts Receivable and billing
- The Accounting Assistant will assist in preparing and posting journal entries
- Ad hoc accounting projects
Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant
- BS in Accounting or Finance or related field
- 1 years of accounting experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- The Accounting Assistant will need to be able to effectively communicate
