Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• The Accounting Manager will serve as the financial leader and primary point of contact for all financial matters within our client's organization.
• Lead the development of comprehensive financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting, to guide strategic decision-making.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis, providing actionable insights and reports to senior management.
• Ensure strict adherence to accounting principles, STAT regulatory requirements, NAIC, and internal policies.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement strategic initiatives.
• Provide strategic recommendations to drive financial performance and support the company's long-term objectives.

Requirements of the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in a similar financial leadership role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and STAT reporting standards.
• Life insurance OR Accident & Health insurance is required
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• The Accounting Manager will have a proactive mindset with a strong ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
