About The Company
CFS Dayton has partnered with a fast-growing equipment rental company in business for over sixty years! They are looking for a strategic, big-picture financial leader to add to their team that will help them build the strategic steps necessary to realize their vision of doubling in size every four years.
Key Accountabilities of the CFO
- Oversight of existing Financial, HR/Development, Technology, and Purchasing roles
- Assist in developing/implementing operational best practices that support the organization’s short- and long-term financial goals
- Oversee existing cash strategy, including - Debt Placement, Investments, and overall cash flow
- Ensure a consistent, risk-balanced financial strategy remains in place to support company goals in an ever-changing business environment
- Fleet lifecycle oversight (current fleet is $70MM – grow to $100MM by year-end 2023), including acquisition, lifecycle management, and disposal processes
- Identify and prepare for future acquisition and greenfield business expansion opportunities
- Ongoing entity structure design, tax strategy, and overall business throughput of a privately held company.
Requirements for the CFO
- Forward-looking, with a strategic thought process that can be balanced with self-performed responsibilities
- Equipment rental or similar (asset-based, utilization-driven) industry experience preferred, not required
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- Experience in a high-level finance role required; privately held business experience preferred
- Experience in Information Systems oversight preferred.
- Capable of SQL data queries and data analysis. Wynne Systems ERP experience preferred
- Work in an office-type environment, with field exposure to construction and industrial-type environments as needed
