Overview of the Controller role:

  • Responsible for Financial Reporting
  • Manage 1-2 staff accountants
  • Assist other department heads in reading and understanding financials
  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards

Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Public Accounting experience is a must
  • NFP experience preferred
  • Experience with an array of accounting systems
