Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

FINANCIAL ANALYST

Hiring: Financial Analyst. We are currently working with a mid-sized Twin Cities based company who is experiencing strong growth and is looking to add a talented Financial Analyst to their FP&A team. This role reports into a leader who has a passion for developing staff and for continuing to provide continued growth/opportunities to get involved with new areas. As you master your responsibilities, you will be provided the opportunity to take on new/interesting projects.

Job Purpose:

The Financial Analyst will partner with all levels of management in order to guide and facilitate the analysis of company’s business performance. They will provide financial expertise for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic business planning.

Deliverables:

• Advise FP&A leadership on the company’s financial forecasts to ensure strategic planning decisions are implemented based on appropriate financial guidance.
• Partner with Accounting Managers during monthly close process.
• Assist with consolidation and financial reporting to senior management.
• Devise annual budget calendar and build budget templates. Assist cross-functional departments in the budgeting process and ensure timely delivery of annual budgets for executive approval.
• Work with senior management to provide financial support for new business developments and growth initiatives to ensure that directives are in line with the strategic direction of the organization.
• Assist with cross-company and cross-functional projects to identify new opportunities for improvement in forecast accuracy and process efficiency.
• Forecast and gauge trends and prepare summaries for executive review detailing forecast patterns and the company’s overall outlook.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Must have 1 years' of experience in financial planning & analysis (also open to Accountants with 1 years' of experience who are interested in moving into FP&A)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, specifically in array formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and building financial models
• Possess the ability to provide comprehensive analysis of a topic or business issue from beginning to end by developing the research criteria, identifying the correct data sources and preparing a comprehensive report
• Functional knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes, along with the ability to write financial reports through a standard reporting tool
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate resolution of issues

Compensation: 80K to 85K quarterly bonus eligibility
