What you'll do:
Process end-to-end payroll using ADP WorkforceNow and Enterprise eTime, ensuring accurate calculation and timely distribution of wages, salaries, bonuses, and other compensation components.
Maintain payroll records, including employee information, time and attendance data, and tax withholding details.
Verify and reconcile discrepancies in timesheets, attendance records, and pay amounts to ensure precise payroll processing.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies.
Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance with tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and other relevant legislation.
Handle the preparation and distribution of payroll reports, summaries, and analyses for management review.
Manage multi-state payroll processing, staying knowledgeable about specific state regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards.
Leverage your experience with NYC Restaurant payroll processing to streamline payroll procedures and address industry-specific challenges.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing employee inquiries related to payroll matters, tax withholdings, and compensation discrepancies.
Assist in the development and implementation of payroll-related policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is helpful
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in payroll processing using ADP WorkforceNow. Enterprise eTime is a plus.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and wage and hour laws.
Prior experience in a high-volume processing environment, preferably within a retail or similar industry.
Multistate payroll processing experience, including knowledge of state-specific tax requirements and regulations.
Proficiency in using payroll software and related tools to ensure accurate data entry and processing.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, managers, and external partners.
High level of discretion and integrity when dealing with sensitive payroll information.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Professional certification (CPP or FPC) in payroll administration is a bonus.
