Responsibilities of the Public Accountant:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Compile and analyze financial data to prepare accurate and insightful financial statements for clients in accordance with accounting standards.
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Provide tax planning and compliance services for individuals and businesses. Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Audit and Assurance: Conduct audits and assurance engagements for clients across various industries. Ensure adherence to audit standards and regulatory requirements.
- Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their financial goals, offer strategic advice, and address accounting and financial concerns.
- Bookkeeping and Accounting: Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting functions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and provide insights to help clients make informed business decisions.
Qualifications of the Public Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, including GAAP
- CPA is a plus
