Risk Analyst
CFS is partnering with a local Commodities organization to look for an experienced Risk Analyst to join our growing team. The Risk Analyst will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities of the Risk Analyst:
- Production of daily Profit and Losses for Gas and Power divisions
- Reconciliation of P&L from the firm’s accounting system
- Reporting and monitoring of trading activities, calculation of exposure to risk factors
- Assist the team in the calculation and development of VAR models
- Providing input into the development and enhancement of IT systems
- Providing support and analysis in new business opportunities
- Assist the team in the preparation of reporting packages for management, front office and accounting/tax departments
- Providing analysis and information in response to ad hoc requests
Job Requirements Risk Analyst:
- Ideally 2-5 years’ experience in gas or electricity industries.
- Knowledge and experience in programming (VBA, MatLab or Python).
- Organized and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Required real interest in the energy field and strong motivation to work in a highly competitive environment.
