- Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain comprehensive balance sheet schedules and support them with proper backup documentation.
- Oversee fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare financial statements and conduct Budget to Actual analysis.
- Review subledger for accuracy and liability representation.
- Maintain a clean AR Aging subledger through payment processing and deposit management.
- Monitor AP Aging and related files to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Ensure daily balance between subledgers and the general ledger.
- Handle monthly and quarterly sales tax filings for applicable states.
- Update and maintain accurate sales tax rates as necessary.
- Manage FET payments and quarterly filings.
- Facilitate acquisition and renewal of business licenses.
- Manage daily operating account functions, including GJE processing and checks management.
- Conduct commission and incentive calculations and maintain related records.
- Generate quarterly reports on Distributions, Assets, Vehicles, and Depreciation.
- Provide operational analyses and feedback to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 4 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in an inventory environment.
- Knowledgeable in GAAP regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with using various accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamics or QuickBooks.
- Multi-state sales tax experience = major plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
