Senior Accountant needed!

Our client, a leading automation and integration company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a newly created role due to growth. This person will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions as well as other areas in the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily accounting functions.
  • Manage hourly billing of staff through Timeslips.
  • Assimilate data into organized presentations for management as well as clients for analysis, recommendations, and reporting.
  • Identify costs related to labor, materials, equipment, and resources required based on project scope and documentation.
  • Interface with vendors to establish relationships to support company procurement needs including advantageous terms, pricing, and options for profit maximization.
  • Analyze and monitor all costs associated with jobs and trending analysis for early identification of data anomalies.
  • Forecasting and cash-flow projections.
  • Reconcile accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal staff to ensure consistent and timely presentations of financial information.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with Excel and QuickBooks is preferred.
  • 3 years of strong accounting experience.
