Overview
Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking an Associate Budget Analyst in support of Army INSCOM G8 Enhanced Programming and Resource Management Support Services (EPRMSS) at Fort Gordon, GA. These positions involve providing management and technical support in the areas of Resource Planning, Resource Programming, Resource Budgeting, Resource Execution (PPBE), Congressional Authorizations and Appropriations, and Resource Oversight support in the preparation, review, analysis, coordination and maintenance of documentation and associated databases used in DOD resource management systems. This includes Future-Years Defense Program (FYDP) planning, development of transformational resource support programs, and maintenance of the data management systems that provide resources, fiscal or manning and support for current year funds execution.
Responsibilities
Manpower Programming and Budget
Civilian Resource Management
Procurement Request review and corrective action recommendation
Review Spend Plans/Obligations and Budget Execution Reporting
Execution Data Maintenance
Monitor current year execution & audit readiness and internal controls
Analyze financial data for trends and requirements analysis
Recommend funding for execution per approved budgets
Resource Allocation
Compile Overview of Obligations and Expenditures
Review MIPR and UFRs
Unfinanced Requirements
Organizational agreements
Data Package Support
Financial Analysis
Management Accounting / Accounting Support
Intelligence Contingency Funds
Prepare draft Budget Execution Reports
Provide year-end closeout support
Defense Travel System/Government Travel Card tasks as needed
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI required.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Management
5 years DOD financial management experience.
Has a minimum of 5 years DoD financial management experience.
Preferred: Completed Fiscal Law, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution (PPBE), and Intelligence Resource Management courses, DTS Experience, experience with DOD financial and management systems such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Standard Finance Systems (STANFINS), and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPRS).
Substitute 4 additional years of DoD financial management experience for a bachelor’s degree.
Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
