USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA) is the lead federal coordinator for international disaster assistance. USAID/BHA provides and coordinates U.S. Government (USG) international humanitarian assistance to save lives, alleviate human suffering, and reduce the physical, social, and economic impact of rapid and slow-onset disasters by supporting at-risk populations to build stable foundations to withstand humanitarian shocks and stresses. Team Credence, through the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance Support Contract (BHASC), provides operational and administrative support to provide and coordinate humanitarian assistance and maintain 24/7 response capability.

 

 The Junior Recruiter will be responsible for posting jobs ads, doing initial screenings and scheduling interviews to help support the  USAID/BHA recruitment on BHASC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the program’s recruitment communications in attracting qualified, diverse professionals
  • Provide full life cycle recruitment support for a variety of positions within BHA
  • Ensure maximum in efficiency in recruitment of professionals, consistent hiring practices, and comprehensive orientation and onboarding procedures
  • Support the DEIA initiatives
  • Post job ads on professional sites, job sites and social media
  • Participate in candidate sourcing efforts
  • Assist teams in screening resumes
  • Anonymize resumes for team review
  • Conduct initial phone screens
  • Schedule calls and interviews
  • Use recruiting software to keep track of open roles
  • Participate in recruiting events
  • Conducts reference checks on final candidates.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: BS 2 Years or HS 6
  • Should have relevant degree;
  • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems ICIMS is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Be capable of prioritizing tasks and follow up on actions without prompting;
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances; and
  • Be willing to go the extra mile and participate as an active team member who assists other team members as necessary.
  • Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
    • Lifting in excess of 25 lbs, standing for long periods of time, traveling across base regularly, transporting equipment, etc)
    • Hybrid work environment (in-person with the ability to telework).

Full salary for this position is $72,360.00 per year
