We are seeking a Business Analyst for the Systems and Application Support Department.
This incumbent holds a staff function in the Systems and Application Support department focused on providing Business Analytical Support to applicable departments within the Member Operation Business Unit (MO BU) Divisions aimed at improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness. It is an individual contributor role reporting to the Systems and Application Support manager. The role requires the incumbent to take the needs of each assigned department/business and integrated stakeholders into consideration when proposing advisory assistance and helping them examine any System and Application issues they may be encountering. The Business Analyst role will routinely, and objectively review and document assigned processes, workflows, and system interfaces in support of assigned departments.
In the review and documentation process, the role seeks to identify inefficiencies and obstacles, recommend step-by-step alternative solutions in the form of recommended project plans, and execute projects on time, on budget, and according to specifications. The role also requires the incumbent at the request of the assigned department/business manager(s) to develop complex, business reports utilizing divergent data sources.

Highlights:
- Evaluate and analyze the current effectiveness of applications and workflows even if no obvious inefficiency is apparent or suspected
- Foresee developing issues based on observations and taking action to eliminate or reduce adverse impact/risk
- Collaborate with departmental managers and staff in understanding business intelligence needs
- Based on understanding and through stakeholder requests, develop, revise, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analysis potentially sourced from multiple disparate systems
- Identify and implement incremental (continuous) improvements and set quality standards for applications, processes, and services in response to changing needs
Experience:
Required
- 3 years of business analyst experience
- 3 years of developing, revising, and maintaining complex, business-intelligent reports/dashboards/analytics
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors
Preferred
- Financial services industry and IT servicing and origination systems experience preferred
- 5 or more years of business analyst experience
- 5 or more years of developing, revising, and maintaining complex, business-intelligent reports/dashboards/analytics
- Multiple years of technical/systems analytical experience
- Continuous Improvement/Six Sigma/Lean experience
Education:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study OR equivalent experience and knowledge required
Skills & Knowledge:
Required
- Strong tech business analysis skills
- Extensive knowledge of data processing and enterprise software applications.
- Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Products including SQL, and MS Visio.
- Strong analytical, technical, and conceptual skills with attention to detail
- Experience in developing and implementing standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes.
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge and expertise effectively to other professionals, regulators, and credit union staff.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Results-oriented with a strong focus on the customer (both internal & external)
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Strong vendor management skills
- Strong service orientation to align needed support to the desired business outcome
Preferred
- Project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
Flexibility: On-Site; in office - no remote or hybrid
Salary Range: $87,385 - $91,819
