Payroll Manager

What you'll do:

You will have clear end-to-end ownership of specific duties, including but not limited to:

• Global semi-monthly or monthly payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees in a multi-state environment with accuracy.
• Reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing payroll, while maintaining the employee database regarding salary and pay. Other duties include a strong knowledge of tax and wage laws and common fiscal procedures.
• Overseeing and maintain the integration processes that have a direct impact on the payroll processing which includes, the entire lifecycle of an employee.
• Coordinating with third part vendors as it relates to the processing of payroll.
• Processing and monitoring garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll specifications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve questions and concerns regarding payroll, as well as calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions, as you remain familiar with current taxation of salaries, benefits and other factors.
• Conduct semi-annual audits of all payroll records
• Reconcile general ledger with regard to payroll transactions

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 10 years payroll experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgement
• Ability to research, analyze, summarize data and resolve discrepancies
• Evaluate, understand and interpret data flowing from various systems
• Manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact with various stakeholders throughout the organization
• Experience with end to end payroll processing
• Ability to adapt to various systems and platforms used for payroll processing a must
• Ability to excel in both the technical and customer service aspects of payroll
• Familiarity with Windows-based computer, ADP- WFN, ADP Streamline/Freedom internet, Workday, IM platforms etc.
