Job Overview
As an Sr. Product Analyst, you will analyze, define, and document requirements for the product development team based on our product roadmap priorities. The Sr. Product Analyst works with cross-functionally to guide your assigned scrum team to build solutions from conception to launch that users will love. To be successful as the Agile Product Analyst, you must be a proven leader of scrum teams who is creative, focused, and a resourceful problem-solver.

We work closely with engineers, designers and most importantly, our users to create credit simulation solutions that make the dream of homeownership accessible and affordable for all.
Essential Functions:
As the Sr. Product Analyst, you will:
- Ensure that the team always has an adequate number of prepared stories to work on prior to starting every sprint
- Facilitate conversations with the scrum team around each story and ensure there is a strong shared understanding of the desired intent which is documented as detailed acceptance criteria
- Plan and facilitate scrum events as needed with a constant focus on continuous improvement
- Monitor the team’s progress throughout the sprint and help to clear issues when they arise
- Facilitate the work breakdown and prioritization of technical tasks for user stories as needed
- Work closely with the product manager and other stakeholders to understand user problems and propose high-value improvements
- Create use cases, user stories, and BDD-style acceptance criteria
- Work with the UX team to mold concepts that meet both business and user needs
- Create models, flow charts, wireframes (with UX input), data flow diagrams and process flow diagrams
- Document detailed technical requirements and logic implementations
- Liaise with the testing team to ensure the functional and technical compatibility of the product matches with the requirements.
- Play a key role in releases, assisting with exploratory testing, bug triage and release notes among other responsibilities

Required Education and Experience
- B.A. or B.S. (focus in Computer Information Systems, Business Management, Engineering, or related area of study is a plus)
- 6 years’ experience in IT, software development or related industry
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) including agile scrum methodology
- Experience providing product management support such as prioritization and backlog grooming
- Experience working with UX teams
- Experience working independently to deliver results
- Experience working in an agile environment
