Underground utility Foreman - Telecommunications

Creek Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hard-working Telecommunications Foreman to ensure construction is being built safely and to required standards.

Creek Enterprise, Inc. has been completing large-scale construction projects in the telecommunications industry since 2003. This includes directional boring, installation of manhole and conduit systems, buried and aerial placement of coaxial, copper, and fiber communications and power cable, plowing and trenching. Responsibility

• Maintain understanding of our specifications, standard practices, and safety
• Conduct walkouts and inspect cable placement, splice points, underground placement of conduit and handholes for Aerial and Underground crews.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair overhead fiber lines.
• Assist managing several crews per day.
• Communicate with subcontractors on changes or issues with projects.
• Understanding of separation and clearance regulations
• Operate Construction Equipment
• Utilize standard telecommunications tools
• Access construction points as required
• Read and interpret engineering plans
• Keep a detailed record of work activity

Qualifications

• Current valid drivers license (CDL Preferably but not required) with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must follow all safety guidelines and wear protective equipment at all times
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work at heights of 20 ’ feet
• Must be able to move in different positions – crouching, bending, reaching, kneeling, and heavy lifting
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well with others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
