Onsite Marketing Coordinator- Part Time

Reports to: Complex Marketing Manager and Complex Director of Sales & Marketing.      Complex Director of Sales & Marketing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience required.

-1-2 years’ experience and training in a similar position in the hotel/resort/guest service industry, marketing, or related field, preferred.

-Strongknowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required.

-Knowledge of Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), required.

-Strong knowledge and creation of current social media platforms, required and execution software (Sprout Social, etc.), preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Assists Complex Marketing Manager with web updates, social media content creations and calendar, organizing &coordinating publications, photoshoots and creative department and developments.

-Works and coordinates signature events, on-site events that fall within the MarketingActivation Calendar of Events.

-Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the creative department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipts.

-Assists Complex Marketing Manager in keeping all platforms up to date and consistent (Websites, Social Channels, Guest Services Platforms, OTAs & third-party platforms.)

-Assists Complex Marketing Manager with administration and departmental accounting procedures.

-Assembles consumer rating reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations. Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.

-Supports Complex Marketing Manager with owners, sales & marketing presentations by assembling customer feedback, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration, and product capability booklets, compiling account and competitor analyses.

-Assists Complex Marketing Manager in creating/producing menus, mailers, brochures etc. by formatting content and graphics and assuring deadlines are met.

-Maintains marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory and acts a liaison with third-party advertisers, vendors and PR agencies.

-Research competitive properties by identifying and evaluating characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.

-Assist Complex Marketing Manager (CMM) & Complex Director of Sales & Marketing (CDSM) in day-to-day operations.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

-Excellent language, spelling, writing, editing, proofreading skills, telephone etiquette and written communication skills.

-Photography and video production background is a plus.

-Event planning background preferred.

-Ability to read and interpret documents.

-Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.

-Ability to write and edit copy that adheres to brand standards in style and tone for collateral, advertorial, and online media.

-Discretion and confidentiality are extremely important.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour Based on Experience
