Job Description
We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will own the infrastructure and uptime of our platform that facilitates resource-intensive analysis, enabling us to solve challenging problems in today's power markets.
we build proprietary systems that are the backbone of our business in trading speculative wholesale power contracts and hedging risk in our existing portfolios. Everyone at our firm, from our analysts to our engineers, contributes to this platform. As a DevOps Engineer, your job will be to facilitate our collective development work to build out critical trade flows and transact on the best data available.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a mind for increasing productivity and creating and implementing software systems and solutions on a firm-wide level. Applicant requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or equivalent experience3 to 5 years of DevOps experience Experience with the following: AWS stackCI/CD (CircleCI, Travis, Jenkins)Docker, Git, Linux server administration Databases and data warehousing Working knowledge of Python Kubernetes not required Excellent communication skills and team focused mentality, Willingness to dive deeply into the details of a problem Comfort working both individually as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Nice-to-haves
Experience developing engineering applications for a larger corporation PHP, SQL, React, or other JavaScript experience is a plus, but not required.
Salary : $120,000 - $175,000
