Job Description
Cresset is seeking an Associate, CFO Services with experience in operational accounting, cash management, bill pay, and payroll administration. This role will have direct interaction with Cresset Family Office clients serving the needs of high-net worth individuals, families, and business owners in a fiduciary capacity. This position will report directly to the Managing Director, CFO Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrated accounting and cash flow modeling
- Family bookkeeping
- Accurate, and reliable bill pay
- Trust/fiduciary account and distribution calculations
- Cash management services
- General ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost allocations
- Maintain sources and uses of cash reporting for family members
- Support financing and financial operations related to residential holdings and acquisitions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA preferred
- 3 years of experience working with HNW or UHNW clients
- Proficient understanding of accounting and tax principals
- Excellent time management skills including multi-tasking and prioritizing of responsibilities
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid skills and experience using all Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and other general ledger software, a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team
