What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Administrator position at Cresten Properties?

Cresten Properties is seeking an experienced, energetic, motivated, and personable Accounting Administrator to join the company. The Accounting Administrator is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate & timely financial records for the organization. 
 


Essential Duties, Responsibilities, & Expectations:
 

  • Daily cash deposit data entry. 
  • Responsible for accounts payable.
  • Responsible for accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile credit card transactions.
  • Month end assistance. Including, but not limited to: bank reconciliations, pulling reports, monthly journal entries.
  • Prepare common area maintenance and real estate tax reconciliations.
  • Order supplies for the office, as needed.
  • Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned.

 


Work Environment:

Individual needs to be able to work in an office environment.

 

 

Travel Demands:

Less than 5% on an annual basis.

 

 

Position:

This is a full-time, hourly position.  Business days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

 

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
  • Familiar with QuickBooks
  • Familiar with NetSuite
  • Knowledge of multiple PC software packages such as MSOffice suite
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional office skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
