Program Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees the function, maintenance and pick-up and shipping of client Urine Drug Screen Transportation for Crestview Recovery and its clients. The Program Manager may oversee scheduling staff, oversees the Dietary, Maintenance, and Housekeeping Departments as well as grounds and vehicle maintenance to assure staff and client safety.
This position will report to The Executive Director.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Is directly responsible for assuring employee compliance with Facility and departmental safety policies and procedures; recommends actions to the CEO if necessary.
- Is aware of budget guidelines and is alert to cost containment opportunities.
- Evaluates the need for new equipment and/or supply items and recommends capital purchases to the Executive Director.
- Assures that equipment is in good working order at all times; communicates need for repairs or problems with equipment.
- Is alert to the occurrence of incidents necessitating the completion of Incidents Reports and oversees reports are logged in compliance with CARF and state regulations.
- Is aware of, and assures compliance with fire/safety/disaster procedures.
- Assures adequate stocking of supplies for the programs.
- Routinely meets with the Clinical Director to review the operations regarding staff scheduling for adequate coverage, transportation of UDS.
- Other duties as assigned.
LINE MANAGEMENT
- Is directly responsible for the patient care activities within assigned departments.
- Assumes the responsibility of day-to-day problem solving within assigned departments.
- Evaluates personnel performance according to set standards; is alert to employee needs for continuing education and refers these needs to appropriate personnel; provides technical consultation to employees as needed.
- Interviews, screens, and recommends additional personnel related to the non-clinical functions of the agency.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT
- This position may lead the Safety Committee to perform regularly scheduled checks of fire equipment and alarms.
- Monitors and evaluates services rendered to assure achievement of quality patient care and effective utilization of staff time and activities related to buildings, food service and transportation.
- Assures that all assigned departments, activities and physical plant are in full compliance with federal, state, and local standards and CARF regulations.
- Participates actively in CARF and Continued Quality Improvement (CQI) teams and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred 1 year in a supervisory maintenance position is preferable.
- Must possess considerable knowledge of and ability to supervise staff as well as the capabilities to plan, implement, supervise, and educate staff in safety issues.
- Must be capable of moving large pieces of equipment in excess of 100 lbs utilizing moving and storage equipment to perform those tasks.
COMPETENCIES:
1. Accurate reporting and critiques of Fire Drills, Mock Crisis Events for leadership
2. Accurate monthly reports and annual reports regarding log keeping, vehicle maintenance, Incident Report and facility safety reports and tags on equipment
3. Leadership skills evidenced in Performance Improvement reports regarding facility safety, HVA reports, SI prevention
4. Evidence of skills scheduling transport for clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
