Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Build and manage an account pipeline, assist teammates when needed.
Oversee opportunity pursuit through award.
Manage transition from opportunity qualification to proposal development
Develop and execute Capture Plan.
Develop and conduct opportunity decision gate briefs as necessary
Provide direct support to Proposal Manager (e.g. ensuring capture hot buttons, win themes, discriminators are properly documented in the proposal; contributing to and authoring content, as tasked; and providing review and edit throughout proposal phases).
Provide inputs to annual strategic plan development in line with company strategic planning guidance.
Develop and execute an annual budget
Build opportunity teaming plans and agreements to support.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
Required Experience:
2 years related capture/business development experience.
2 years Program or Project Management experience
Experience leading Capture and Pursuit efforts >$50M
Experience marketing capabilities to DoD customers.
Experience supporting business development strategic planning
Experience in USAF aviation, aviation-related positions
General Skills:
Must be an organized, aggressive, highly skilled professional, knowledgeable in government contracting, with excellent collaboration skills.
Must possess excellent communications skills.
Must have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Must be self-motivated, able to work with little or no oversight for long periods of time
Must be able to think strategically.
Must be familiar with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to gain support and establish working relationships with managers, peers and staff.
Must be able to demonstrate a proven record of success managing capture efforts.
Must possess demonstrated skills in all areas of business development including: opportunity qualification, capture strategy, customer relationship development, relationship development with corporate partners, team leadership
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must understand and have experience with training customers.
Must be able/available to travel frequently. (50% or more)
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Clearance:
Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
