We are currently searching for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our Barriere Construction Group team of talented employees!
Job Duties:
- Preparing, smoothing and finished surfaces of poured concrete roads and parking lots
- Level concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, with handheld screed and floats to bring water t surface and produce soft topping.
- Smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete
- Finishes concrete surfaces, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish
- Produces rough concrete surface with broom
- Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using powder grinder or chisel and hammer
- Patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
- Performs other duties assigned
Experience Requirements:
- Must have 5 years of experience in form setting and concrete finishing
- Set forms, place concrete, finish concrete
- TWIC Card Required and Basic Plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions such as cold, heat, and humidity
- The maximum unassisted lift requirement is 51 pounds
- Must observe all safety protocol
