Job Description

he Commissary Menu Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of commissary menu development, revisions, and updates for municipal and state clients.  The Analyst will work directly with Operators and Commissary support leaders to understand financial goals, client requirements and resident preferences.

Job Responsibilities

• Review all assigned executed client contracts to identify specific contract requirements and schedules for price increases, replacing discontinued items and the addition and/or removal of products from the commissary menus.
• Maintain and track the schedule for menu changes for municipal and state clients in Riskonnect or applicable system, as required.
• Interact with Commissary Managers and other Operations Support Team members to facilitate the addition or removal of menu products as requested by a facility.
• Analyze and correct internal commissary master menu products to ensure appropriate pricing margins are maintained or corrected, based on the individual account.
• Utilize existing systems and other resources to research, identify, and stay abreast of price increases to products, discontinuances of products and their replacements and establish a tracking system of such data to assist with menu changes which may occur at a later date.
• Maintain and update the master product list(s) to ensure accuracy and avoid duplication of products.
• Maintain and update the Library of Master Menus.  Ensure menus are up-to-date and have back-up copies stored in a secure location.
• Maintain and update any Agency/Client restriction menu(s) which are the written record of restrictions within the various ordering software systems. Ensure restriction menus are always up to date and that back-up copies of these menus are stored in a secure location.
• Monitor and identify product price increases and make appropriate and timely recommendations, as allowed.
• Ensure all menu update information is disseminated in a timely manner to all applicable personnel for updating customer Agreements, inventory systems, facility ordering software systems, and/or for customer facing local menu distribution.
• Participate as necessary in meetings regarding upcoming menu changes or other menu related topics.
   

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed team. 
• Strong analytical skills with ability to understand retail pricing structures, percentage calculations and ability to identify problems and resolve them quickly.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required. 
• Demonstrated ability to focus & manage multiple priorities.
• Very strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills combined with commitment and proven ability to succeed within a fast-paced organization.
