As a member of a dynamic global L&D team, the Senior Consultant, Learning & Development will play a critical role in the design, program management and execution of various global leadership development programs, and L&D initiatives to build skills and capabilities of our team members throughout the organization. To be successful in this role, the selected candidate will utilize skill strengths such as curiosity, collaboration, hospitality focus, business acumen, and impact. The Senior Consultant, Learning & Development should also have strong emotional intelligence and communication skills, able to influence others and collaborate cross functionally.
This role will report to the Manager, Global Learning & Development. While this role is based out of Aramark’s Headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, remote candidates will be considered.
This role may require up to 25% travel.
• Develop and manage one or more leadership development programs
• Collaborate and consult to an assigned group of stakeholders as a representative of Global L&D
• Create engaging learning solutions using instructional design techniques and adult learning theories (i.e., eLearning, Virtual ILT, ILT, etc.)
• Contribute to the design and delivery of various leadership development programs
• Lead, facilitate, and manage one or more leadership development programs
• Support administration and debrief of leadership assessments
• Develop content, learning plans, and curricula
• Curate learning leveraging existing resources
• Manage and influence multiple projects, stakeholders, and deliverables
• Leverage data and influence to present a business case to stakeholders
• Coordinate both classroom and virtual learning events that may include vendor management, managing enrollment, and preparing and tearing down training space
• Support the development and enablement of individuals responsible for learning facilitation and administration in the field
• Provide coaching and feedback; effectively teach and apply 70/20/10 development
• Drive a culture of learning, innovation, and growth
• Partner with the Learning Enablement (Technology) team to ensure ongoing functionality and to address LMS-related training concerns that arise on an ongoing basis
• Manage and collaborate with 3rd party learning partners, as needed, to develop and deliver learning programs
• Establish and sustain high quality partnerships with external vendors
• Stay abreast of learning and leadership best practices and innovative techniques
• At least three years of experience in leadership development, talent management, instructional design, human resources; or equivalent proficiency / experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Human Resource Management, Business or related field. (Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.)
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles
• Advanced proficiency and experience with learning technologies used for creating mixed media learning experiences (i.e., Articulate 360, Camtasia, Powtoons, etc.)
• Proficient in both instructional design and facilitation
• Experience leading or influencing work on a cross functional team
• Project management or change management experience
• Strong communication skills including interpersonal, written, and verbal
• Strong facilitation skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence across a highly matrixed organization
• The ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information

• Expertise/proficiency in instructional design tools; developing e-learning (Articulate 360, Camtasia, etc.)
• Certification in Leadership Assessment tools (i.e., 360, Hogan, DiSC, etc.)
• APTD/CPTD, TMI, SHRM, or HRCI Certification
• Business Acumen beyond L&D/HR expertise (i.e., Experience managing a P&L)
