Position Summary
Ensure all products are moved in a timely manner.
Position Responsibilities
- Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectation.
- Drivers must do an inspection on the Ottawa at the start of every shift to ensure that it is good working condition, (Report all safety issues to the manager, or supervisor on shift) these checks must be documented as an inspection at the start of each shift. These checks must be turned in with the daily documentation at the end of each shift.
- Must log all movement on his/her log sheet every day.
- Must complete all moves for all plants in a timely manner.
- Must contact each department regarding completion of moves.
- Trash trailers backed in at the end of the night.
- Must pull trailers from offal as needed.
- Must fuel up any trailers that are below ½ tank of fuel to full status
- No trailer should be out of fuel in the morning
- Must maintain the cleanliness inside of the Ottawa truck.
- Must help dispatch with locating trailer that are on yard.
- Drivers must always be reachable by company radios
- Daily documentation must be turned into the Shipping Supervisor at the end of each shift.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (Hot and Cold).

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Able to walk and stand, use arms and legs for long periods of time including wrist turning and finger manipulation.
- Employee stands frequently with tasks requiring consistent bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling to complete; Lift, carry and push/pull occasionally of up to 50 pounds is required.
- While Performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to extreme temperature conditions.
- Job locations can be consistently 40 degrees or below.
- The noise levels at work are moderate to loud and hearing protection is required.
