Position Overview
The Vehicle Operations Coordinator (VOC) will be part of the Vehicle, Technology, and Equipment (VTE) Team, which provides the Protective Services teams with the essential equipment necessary as they safeguard the lives of Leadership. The Protective Services Vehicle Fleet program is expected to grow substantially, quarter over quarter, with vehicles stationed in multiple states. The Vehicle Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing tailored solutions to address challenges throughout the expected dynamic and fast-paced growth. The VOC will also assist in developing the program and providing guidance that is functionally cohesive and operationally efficient.
The VOC will provide technological, administrative, and operational oversight of the VTE Team and will ensure all operations are tasked and coordinated, according to set requirements. This responsibility includes operational authority, implementation, direction, and improvement recommendations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
Manage and prioritize multiple projects, while adhering to dynamic project timelines.
Develop plans and projections for resource allocation, forecasting, and cost management.
Implement and manage equipment inspection, replacement, and evaluation programs for fleet and equipment.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs of vehicle fleet and equipment.
Oversee asset management system to maintain an accurate equipment history and prepare asset reports for management.
Analyze data, production needs, and new equipment technologies to make, buy, and sell recommendations to management.
Establish policies and procedures for inventory, maintenance, safety standards, and proper care and inspection of equipment.
Assist with the development and implementation of new KPI’s to complement, improve upon, or replace existing ones.
Scout, assess, and implement new technologies (e.g. remote vibration sensing) to assist with Condition Based Maintenance.
Utilize metrics to influence business decisions on asset replacement, versus useful life extension evaluations. Use reliability data and risk assessment to support evaluation of service contracts.
Assist in defining the Maintenance and Reliability Roadmap 12-18 months into the future and be a primary driving force behind its delivery.
Assist in the development of budget plans for capital expenditures to assist in future growth and process improvements.

Qualifications
3 years of work experience in security transportation logistics.
Comprehensive understanding of all applicable vehicle regulations and laws.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must possess strong case management skills and demonstrate willingness to accept ownership of cases.
Must be adaptable and able to function in stressful and/or fluid situations.
Must possess advanced-level abilities in time management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organization.
Be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with peers, management, and clients in a professional and consistent manner.
