Responsibilities
Our staff provides cyber security support to the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration.
We are seeking to hire a Property Manager to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The candidate will be part of the Operations Team working in a 24x7 environment. The position requires interaction with multiple departments within the Cyber Security group, personnel at customer sites, various levels of management, and outside agencies. Position can include up to 10% travel, local and nationwide. Applicant must be a positive, flexible, self-starter requiring minimal supervision, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment. Communication skills are critical with the ability to verbalize and provide documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences. Applicants must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task effectively.
Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manages government furnished equipment (GFE) procured include equipment within the facility and equipment procured under the Task Order and deployed to remote sites
- Performs equipment distribution, spares management and vendor returns for government furnished equipment (GFE) and locations procured under the Task Order and deployed to remote sites
- Assists with deployments of equipment to customer regional offices and home offices; arranges delivery logistics, tracking of inventory, and communicates with the customer regarding schedule, disposition, and shipping concerns
- Establishes and defines property processes for managing and tracking GFE throughout the asset lifecycle
- Develops, maintains, and updates policies and procedures for effective asset lifecycle management (acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation and reallocation) of all assets
- Tracks and maintains an inventory of all assets throughout the assets lifecycle
- Performs shipping and receiving activities
- Performs regularly scheduled asset inventories In accordance with gov and dept. policies and guidance Including Quarterly Sensitive Asset Inventories
- Ensures compliance with federally-mandated regulations and laws
- Identifies relevant and meaningful metrics, gathers data, and reports the information to managers
- Facilitates equipment delivery, returns, relocations, storage and transfers
- Ensures organizational awareness concerning property policies and procedures
- Conducts investigations of lost, damaged, or destroyed property And reporting of
- Maintains asset database and updates records as necessary
- Works both independently and collaboratively with local and remote staff; may supervise 1-2 personnel involved in property/asset tracking and management activities
- Works on multiple projects concurrently – assesses priorities and operates in a flexible manner
- Performs research to ensure compliance with DOE and federally-mandated regulations
- Prioritizes and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Demonstrates strong inventory and time management skills
- Generates reports on periodic and ad hoc basis
- Displays a high level of attention to detail
- Able to grasp new technologies quickly
Qualifications
Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies
- US Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years work experience; without a degree, 5 years of work experience and 4 additional years of relevant experience required. Each year of college education can be substituted for one year of the additional required relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in an asset management or inventory management capacity
- Able to lift 50 – 75 lbs on occasion
- Recognized as a Certified Professional Property Manager by the National Property Management Association
Security Clearance Level
- Clearable to DOE Q (candidates with an active clearance are preferred but will consider candidates that are clearable)
