Essential Duties Responsibilities
1. Unload materials
2. Site preparation including shoveling and grading using hand tools
3. Pipe placement
4. Carpentry and woodworking
5. Concrete finishing and placement
6. Hose dragging
7. Climb and work atop scaffolding up to 100 feet
8. Perform site clean up
9. Assisting in dome forming
10. Learn skills for assigned jobs and tasks
11. Abide by all safety rules on the job site
12. Ready to learn on-the-job training when necessary
13. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Have a reliable means to get to work on time every day
  • The ability to use a shovel, hammer and other small tools.
  • Basic knowledge of tools required
  • Ability to follow oral instructions
  • Ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job with or without accommodation
  • Must have the ability to work as a member of a team

Preferred Qualifications
  • HS diploma preferred or equivalence
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred

Working Conditions
  • Employees are expected to relocate, at their own expense, with the crew from one jobsite to the next jobsite, which may be outside of an employee’s resident state.
  • Generally work 8 to 10 hour shifts, although longer shifts are common; weekend and overtime work may be required.
  • Employee may experience weather-related or other work stoppage at any time of the year.
  • Transportation and housing are the responsibility of the employee.
  • Some tasks require employee’s to either work with or be in the vicinity of potentially harmful materials, chemicals, fumes, odors, loud noise or dangerous machinery. In this case, the company provides appropriate personal protective equipment to keep employees safe.

  • Follow all Crom and job site safety requirements
  • Properly use/wear all PPE
  • Compliance with all fall protection requirements is critical.

Physical Requirements:

Standing: Particularly for a sustained periods of time. Amount of time: 100%

Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Amount of time: To 2/3 ->50% and Over 2/3->50%

Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward. Amount of time: Under 1/3 ->50% and 2/3->50%

Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Amount of time: Under 1/3 ->50% and 2/3->50%

Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arms(s) in any direction could be overhead for periods of time. Amount of time: Over 2/3->100%

Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.Under 1/3 ->50% and 2/3->50%

Lifting: Raising objects over head from lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.Amount of time: To 2/3 ->50% and Over 2/3->50%

Handling: Picking, pinching or otherwise working primarily with fingers. Amount of time: Under 1/3->100%

Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm.
Amount of time: Under 1/3->100%

Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.Amount of time:
Under 1/3->100%

Crouching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.Amount of time: Over 2/3->100%

Crawling: Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.Amount of time: Under 1/3->100%

Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.Amount of time: Over 2/3->100%

Climbing

Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and the like. Body agility is emphasized.

Over 6 ft -> 100%, Over 30 ft -> 60%, Over 50 ft-> 25%, Over 75 ft->10%

Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)-Amount of time ->50%

Subject to hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. Amount of time: ->100%

Subject to close quarters, crawl spaces. Amount of time: ->25%
