Job Description:
Perform tasks related to the building, construction and joinery trades under the supervision of qualified tradesmen and consistent with apprenticeship level.
Duties:
* Perform construction, assembly, alteration or renovation of buildings, structures, cabinets, etc.
* Perform construction activity such as footing excavation, demolition, concrete placement, window installation, wall and roof framing, siding, roofing, finish carpentry, millwork, etc.
* Use of hand tools, power tools, static shop equipment, wheeled and tracked equipment, scaffold erections, etc.
* Use of company owned vehicles for collection and assemblage of building supplies from local suppliers.
* Following of written and verbal instructions, including communicating and interacting with fellow employees and customers.
* Read, interpret and understand various types of construction and architectural drawings.
Physical Demands:
Employees will be required to stand and/or walk over 75% of the time. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling may be required. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Must possess driver’s license or be able to do so upon hire.
