As a medical technologist, you'll analyze bodily fluids to check for disease and abnormalities. Working in a hospital, lab, private practice, outpatient center or other healthcare facility, you'll collect blood and/or urine samples, analyze samples, maintain equipment and handle patient data. You'll play a critical role in maintaining sterile conditions, preventing disease and helping patients and providers find answers to various health concerns.
