Cross Safe is looking for an assistant supervisor to join our Crossing Guard Team in Green Bay, WI. This is a part-time position working up to 4 hours per day Monday through Friday on all days school is in session. The pay is $20 per hour.
The Assistant Crossing Guard Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in maintaining the highest level of customer service, image, and convenience for Cross Safe customers at their designated location. Assistant supervisors are expected to lead the TEAM based upon the company’s core values DEEDS.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Assist in training employees in the various operations of the job site with a strong focus on safety.
- Report to the crossing guard supervisor any employee who is not adhering to the company’s core values.
- Assist with maintaining company equipment including the distribution and collection of safety gear and equipment.
- Assist with conducting routine audits/evaluations of staff including safety assessments.
- Assist with scheduling and timecard approval as needed.
- Assist with conducting interviews and orientation.
- Fill schedule gaps and holes as needed.
- Ensure compliance of established policies and procedures for both the customer and company.
- Minimum 1 year experience leading/supervising a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with client focus.
- Ability to work alongside staff.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience and understanding handling personnel issues including hiring, firing, training, and disciplinary action.
- Ability to lead by example.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for 2-3 hours.
