As the Operational Risk Analyst the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the operational risk incident management process to guarantee that timeliness, integrity and quality control are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Supports internal customers with risk training and development of the field leadership teams.

Collaborate with other organizational line of defense (i.e. Compliance, Internal Audit, etc.) and report key risk and control indicators of department/business unit.

Analyze and identify trends to develop savings opportunities and strategies with regards to safety and claims.

Support enterprise risk management, internal projects, and other management-related projects across the organization.

Monitor, review, and communicate the impact to the risk profile of future initiatives, including new product assessments, changes to trading strategies, targeted risk reviews, and major business changes.

Carry out detailed walkthroughs and process mapping to identify significant risks and controls

Undertake the maintenance of Enterprise Risk Management Risk Register

Utilize advanced excel skill techniques to review financial impact of operational incidents and root cause and business impact analysis.

Leverage advances analytic capabilities to support the implementation of investment policies and procedures.

Develop and maintain technical knowledge of systems and data to ensure optimal use of technology.

Proactive approach to preventing injuries whether to our employees or third parties, including auto losses and non-auto injuries.

Ensures the execution of established risk or operational policies and procedures associated with risk mitigation.

Responsible for the completion of the Business Unit Risk Assessments.

Develop Risk Mitigation Action Plans.

Stay abreast of current industry standards.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or other related field preferred;
Years of Experience: 3-5 years of risk management experience or operations experience in banking, insurance, financial service, audit or related area.
