Pay Range: $15 - $25 an hour
Job Type: Full-time
Crosspoint Power and Refrigeration is seeking a team player, with strong work ethics and wanting to advance their career. This position is great for someone who is seeking a new field of work or who wants to advance their skillset in the diesel and refrigeration field. We welcome all skillsets to apply with an eagerness to work. We have excellent on the job training and strong mentorship.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 1-year relevant experience, preferred, willing to train.
- 1-year refrigeration experience, preferred, willing to train.
- 3 years diesel experience, preferred, willing to train.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Schedule: Monday – Friday
- 8-hour day shifts
- Some weekend & night shifts
- On call shifts, with pay
- Overtime, with pay
Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to the following:
- Investigate and Diagnose issues.
- Assist on regular repair or preventative maintenance.
- Communicate well and participate as a team member.
- Provide excellent customer experience.
- Assist on installation/repairs of transportation refrigeration units. Which includes and not limited to:
- Fuel tanks and lines.
- Interior chute systems
- Satellite systems
- Door switches and fuel level sensors
- Pre-delivery inspections
- Pm Services
- Assist in the installation of APU’s (Auxiliary power units)
- Maintain a clean and safe shop, which includes and not limited to:
- Empty all trash daily.
- Sweep floors, as needed.
- Scrub floors with floor scrubber as needed.
- Assist in organizing the shop when needed.
- Assist in maintaining outside areas and keep organized.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a similar job field, not needed but preferred; Willing to train.
- Mechanical

- The ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Good attendance record
- Valid Indiana driver license
