Seeking full-time cook for a 6-bed residential rehab facility located in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Summary
The cook is responsible for preparing/presenting meals for residents in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for weekly budgeting, menus, and the overall functioning of the kitchen.
- Prepare/present lunch and dinner daily. Create daily and weekly menus and post.
- In charge of kitchen maintenance, refrigerators cleanliness, oven cleanliness, etc.
- Other duties assigned.
Job Requirements
- Food handler’s certification required; can obtain at time of hire.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in addiction preferred.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid training; can obtain at time of hire.
- Current TB test or secured at time of hire.
Job Type
Full-time, $14/hourly
Monday – Saturday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (30 min unpaid lunch)
