Job Title: Yoga Peer Specialist

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Position Summary: The Yoga Peer Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment services to Crossroads clients in an outpatient setting. Under the supervision of the Outpatient Integrated Care Manager, the Yoga Peer Specialist coordinates and monitors the assessment, treatment, facilitates yoga classes/Substance abuse groups, and the planning process and delivery of services outlined in outpatient client treatment plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages intake and discharge planning of Outpatient clients.
- Coordinates care with clients, Probation and Parole Officers and Federal courts.
- Ensures that all outpatient participants complete the individual service plan for contracted behavioral health services.
- Facilitates Outpatient behavioral health groups (including psychoeducation and yoga classes in person and remotely.)
- Maintains yoga studio monthly supplies
- Maintain yoga studio
- Provides individual behavioral health counseling and case management services.
- Maintains caseload with accuracy.
- Perform other duties, as required.
- Meet individual monthly billable services goal.
- Promote community involvement for client programming participation.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, 1 year related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in behavioral health setting with working knowledge of case management services and planning delivery.
- Knowledge of addiction recovery processes and the continuum of care for persons with substance use disorder.
- Demonstrated strong documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- YTT 200 hours certification minimum or trauma informed yoga workshop certification

- While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and speak or hear.
