We are currently searching for a dynamic individual to become the Cook for our unit.  The candidate is responsible for preparing and cooking meals for the patients.  

All positions require pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following and other duties may be assigned. 

Cooks in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.    

Bakes bread and pastries, cut meat, serve meals, and washes dishes.      

Assists food services supervisor in menu preparation.     

Orders supply and maintain records and accounts.        

Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.  

Assists in maintaining a safe and clean kitchen.       

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A  

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:     

High School Diploma or GED.   

ServSafe Certification.

Experience:   

Prefer one-year restaurant or other related cooking experience.        

Other:             

Valid driver's license and insurability.

ServSafe Certification.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work in a kitchen setting, and use kitchen equipment safely. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
