Front Office Specialist

As a Front Office Medical Staff member at Crossroads Urology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing outstanding customer service and administrative support. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Duties

• Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries.
• Verifying patient information and insurance details accurately.
• Collecting co-payments and processing payments using our electronic billing system.
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
• Collaborating with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal patient experience.
• Adhering to clinic policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and compliance standards.

-Skills and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in medical office administration preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with a compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

This position is currently offered as part-time or PRN (as needed) with the option for full-time employment. Flexible scheduling options may be available.
