Ecommerce Assistant

Crosstown Plumbing is a successful plumbing store located in East Orange, NJ. We are hiring an onsite entry-level ecommerce assistant to join our growing team! This role serves as support for our technology and business analyst team. You will assist the team handling our E-commerce store and be involved in our exciting expansion online! You will also be processing and maintaining warranty documentation, along with other ad-hoc responsibilities. This role requires strong attention to detail as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate system information, including up-to-date product, customer and vendor details. The ideal candidate is friendly, has a strong work ethic, and is passionate about providing our customers with a positive experience. Please note this job does not require weekends.

What you’ll do:

Assist in managing Crosstown’s E-commerce stores and expanding our online presence by:

Listing and shipping products; analyze and re-evaluate current and potential listings.

Managing orders and customer relationships to guarantee satisfaction.

Engage with customers and manufacturers regarding warranty claims, ensuring the management of documentation, expectations and timeframes.

Responsible for maintaining up-to-date pricing for both purchases and sales.

Update ERP and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the accuracy of inventory details and pricing information.

Retrieve and examine scheduled sales and inventory reports to support pricing and purchasing decisions.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a highly technical role.

Experience with eBay and/or how commission-based ecommerce marketplaces function highly preferred.

Strong Excel and Microsoft Suite knowledge.

Previous exposure to any ERP would be great!

Strong math, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Ability to summarize and explain complex information to customers.

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize tasks.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
