JOB CODE/TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT for a Foreign Military Training Liaison Team (TLT)
WORK LOCATION: NAS - Pensacola

JOB SUMMARY: Provide administrative support to the NETSAFA International Training Center (NITC) TLT officer and his staff as directed to support their mission. The mission of the TLT is to support their international students in training at various training sites throughout the U.S.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepare and maintain administrative matters/records as directed.Track student status.Ensure all office supplies/logistics are maintained.Make all medical/dental appointments for the students as directed by the TLT staff. Ensure TLT is aware of all medical/dental appointments.Escort students/staff as directed for medical/dental procedures if required.Make flight reservations for students/staff as directed.Handle all administrative matters pertaining to the Temporary Living Allowance (TLA) process to include; preparing the TLA letters, the pick-up and delivery of TLA checks for students.Provide TLT with a daily schedule for students.Assist students/staff members resolve medical billing issues.Provide input into NITC monthly status report.Prepared Fed Ex packages as required.Coordinate with NITC staff and Program Manager as required.Planned special events for the TLT and students as directed.Coordinate the repair of TLT vehicles as required.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Shall have five years office administrative support function, training and /or personnel administration experience.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Perform administrative office support functions (including duties of travel clerk) and other clerical support procedures.Shall have a Florida State driver's license and three years experience driving in a city traffic environment and be experienced in driving passengers vans of up to 15 passengers. Good driving record required; no DUIs, no moving violations within the previous 12 months.Must be able to obtain clearance to work on a U.S. military base.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Security Assistance Network website (SANWEB).Experience with US Navy Transaction Online Processing System (TOPS).Previous Military service.Proficient in Arabic language.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
