What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biomedical Technician - BMET II position at Crothall Healthcare?
Working as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET II), you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical safety inspections and repairs on a broad range of patient care and medical equipment. You will also provide customer support by responding to calls from clinical departments to resolve equipment service issues. Other responsibilities include training users and collaborating with fellow technicians to ensure they are kept abreast of updates and device related problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or certificate in electronics/biomedical equipment technology, military training or equivalent experience
- At least three years of experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment
