The Assistant Dean for Students is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of student development services and programs that result in educational and personal growth of students and support the advancement of the mission, vision, and values of the Pomeroy College of Nursing. Responsibilities include provision of academic resources, coordination of services and programs and remediation coordination. This position serves as 504 Compliance Coordinator for the College.
Job Requirements
Required: Bachelors degree in adult or post secondary education with a New York State teaching certificate, or licensure as a Registered Nurse in NYS with two (2) years work experience serving people with disabilities in post secondary education.
Preferred: Masters Degree is preferred.
Special Skills/Equipment: Must have knowledge of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation/American with Disabilities Act requirements.
