REQUIREMENTS:  ALL Applicants must be:

• 18 years of Age
• Able to Pass a Drug Test
• Legally Eligible to Work in the US
• Additional Requirements for Craftworkers:
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite every workday (driver's license not required)
  • Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
  • May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)

Primary function of a Carpenter Helper: Assists carpenters in the construction, installation, and repair of structures.

Typical Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine duties as directed by the carpenter while keeping the work area clean and restocking supplies and materials as needed.
• Cut pre-marked material or fixtures using civil equipment and power tools under the supervision of carpenters.
• Must be safety minded and adhere to all safety policies.
• Complete all additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have a minimum 1 year of experience in industrial construction with some experience with Symons and gang forms systems.
• Must strive to continuously build knowledge and skills
• Listen and get clarification at all times
• Welcome feedback from carpenters
• Must be able to identify hand tools commonly used by carpenters
• Must be able to describe the use of tools
• Must be able to state the general safety rules for operating power tools and the safe use of hand tools
