Crowe Digital Forensics
Crowe Digital Forensics is an industry leading digital forensics practice with a growing national footprint. The Crowe Digital Forensics team of experts has extensive experience in digital forensics acquisition, analysis, processing, and expert witness testimony on matters of all sizes and complexity. Typical cases handled by the team involve business and employment disputes, compliance and discovery requests in litigation and government investigations, and fraud and criminal investigations for clients including Fortune 500 corporations, law firms and private companies.
Job Summary
The Leader in our Digital Forensics practice is part of a highly skilled and performance-driven team of digital forensics experts, dedicated to providing unparalleled services to some of the world's top industrial and business organizations. In this role you will be valued as a critical element of the firm's Digital Forensics team and seen as a subject matter expert responsible for working with clients to conduct investigations, grow and develop client relationships, provide expert witness testimony, and mentor and lead Crowe Digital Forensics staff members. You will play a crucial role in being the face of the practice in your assigned region and will be expected to organize and participate in extensive business development activities to further develop the team's presence across the country.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to a strong client relationship through direct interactions with current and prospective clients
Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned forensic team
Develop and execute a business plan for assigned forensic office and team
Hire, develop, train, and mentor forensic staff
Conduct detailed forensic analysis on digital evidence at client's direction
Create comprehensive and accurate reports on findings that can easily be understood by both technical personnel and executive level leaders
Offer expert witness testimony in support of client needs
Work on multiple ongoing investigations
Maintain professional certifications by obtaining required training
Contribute to the development of additional tools, scripts and investigative methodologies that enhance current forensic services
Assist with initial engagement scoping, conducting the investigation, reporting findings to the client, expert witness testimony, and all client management responsibilities
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in technical or engineering field
Minimum of 10-15 years' experience conducting hands-on digital forensics investigations
Possess one or more forensic certifications
Highly proficient technical knowledge of forensic tools EnCase, FTK, Axiom, and Cellebrite
Experience with SQL queries, databases, Microsoft Access desirable
Deep understanding of networking concepts, architecture, and protocols
Mastery of computer operating systems, e.g., Windows, Mac, Linux and Unix
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels of the organization and external clients
Expert witness testimony experience
Professional demeanor, motivated self-starter
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,370 to $171,630.

Salary : $118,370 - $171,630
