Primary Purpose: The School Security Monitor is responsible for providing daily security for the school building and parking lots, property and ensures the safety and security of students, staff, building and grounds. This position patrols school property, monitors areas especially parking lots, and alerts administration of all safety and security concerns.March 2022
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED
Clear and valid Texas driver’s license
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively
Effective telephone and communication skills
Ability to receive and give verbal instructions effectively
Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
Proficient map reading skills
Experience:
One year experience in public safety/security
Salary:
Minimum $19,858 annually - 197 days
Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
