Role
The Operations Manager oversees a large and dynamic group of professionals including Operations Coordinators, and a Data Analyst. The Operations Coordinator team is primarily responsible for the financials of the node and fiber projects as well as the ordering and inventory of materials. The Data Analyst is primarily responsible for tracker creation/upkeep, data corrections, adhoc reporting as needed by Managers, trend reporting analysis and data quality projects. The Operations Manager oversees the design and implementation of process and reporting to ensure that data is properly maintained in Crowns Financial System to result in accurate billing and payments.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and manages resources and processes for a team of Operations Coordinators and a Data Analyst. Manages the process to promote efficiency, accuracy and identification of anomalies. Responsible for issue resolution and coordination of or escalation of issues or questions to Manager of Network Construction and any other relevant departments.
- Has a thorough understanding of the expense and/or revenue related processes in order to respond to inquiries and provide guidance to the team when needed. Prioritizes work effort for team members. Shifts staff responsibilities as necessary to respond to large projects, acquisitions or general volume.
- Reviews operational and data quality reports weekly and monthly to ensure that the reports provide an accurate picture of all processes as well as ensuring errors and omissions are corrected accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensures that team members have been properly trained to create purchase orders and input data that results in a high level of financial expertise and data quality within the department.
- As the business process owner, the Manager owns the data generated and maintained by their department. Researches and makes necessary corrections via appropriate data correction process for issues identified on financial monthly review reports and error reports. Provides commentary in monthly status meeting.
- Manages the flow, establishes policy and oversees the controls for complicated business transactions including intercompany relationships, General Contractor (GC) billing, tracker build and maintenance, reporting as needed. The Operations Manager has the ability to identify, quantify and manage the impact of these items that fall outside of the norm and outside of established process. This requires a high level of expertise in the established process and the ability to see above and around the way things flow normally.

- Drives team members to be customer obsessed.
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Three (3) years accounting/finance, real estate and/or related experience
- Three (3) years management experience preferred
- Previous experience working with Accounting/Finance and Real Estate
Other Skills/Abilities
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Communicates effectively)
- JDE database structure, JDE Property Management tables, JDE Address Book preferred
- Ability to oversee resources while contributing to overall group work product (Drives results)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities (Manages complexity)

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
